Review Activity for Continuing Education Contact Hours

Health Enhancement Solutions has been designated as a Multiple Event Provider of Continuing Education for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.  This American Journal of Health Studies Review Activity is offered only to those CHES who are subscribers to the American Journal of Health Studies.  The activity requires reading selected articles from each issue of the American Journal of Health Studies and submitting short answers to a series of questions related to the content of the articles.  The answers to the questions are to be sent via mail or e-mail to the address listed below:

Upon successful completion of each activity, NCHEC Continuning Education Contact Hours (Category 1) will be awarded by Health Enhancement Solutions for the appropriate number of credits.

Review Activity Directions

1. Read the articles listed in the review activity section.

2. On a separate sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper, type the short answers to the questions listed.  Clearly number your answers.  For the questions that require listing, each item in the listing should be no longer than a phrase or sentence.  For questions requiring a brief description, the description should be no longer than 2-4 sentences.  Only typed papers will be accepted.  Please make sure your name; address; name and number of the activity issue; and CHES #'s are at the top of the paper.

3. Print and complete both the American Journal of Health Studies registration form and the Activity Evaluation form.

4. Send your answer sheet, the registration form, the evaluation form, and a check for $6 per each credit (e.g. $18 per 3 credits, $30 per 5 credits, $102 per 17 credits, etc.) made payable to: American Journal of Health Studies.  If you are a current subscriber to the AJHS or have purchased back issues, there is no charge for credits.

After a review of the answer sheets, a certificate for the appropriate number of Category 1 Contact Hours will be sent to participants who successfully complete the activity.  Answer sheets needing further work for approval will be returned to the participants with specific suggestions for completion.
